WHO WE ARE
This is our story
The Jack Simons Foundation seeks to develop opportunities for the next generation of human rights scholars and advocates. The foundation supports scientists to protect and promote the human rights of individuals and communities, in the USA and throughout the world. Grants are made to projects and investigators through educational institutions. The foundation provides support regarding four areas: (1) counseling and education, (2) strengths-based health, (3) STEM education, and (4) community engagement. This involves advocacy, casework, consultation, education, and public notice. In 2020, the foundation launched the Advancing STEM Achievement Project and the Transgender Resilience Project.
