Helping our transgender and gender non-binary communities

The Transgender Resilience Project (TRP) is the first comprehensive study of the experiences of transgender and gender non-binary (TNB) people across the lifespan to develop evidence-based gender-affirming practices to improve health among TNBs. TRP serves as place for individuals in the TNB community to come together to support each other and educate others about the experiences, needs, and resilience of TNB people. TRP is a collaboration between the University of Southern California, the University of Las Vegas - Nevada, and Mercy College in New York. Team members are experts in gender minority topics and advocacy, and some are also members of the transgender and gender non-binary communities. Community members are encouraged to inquire about the research team and protocols during our funding campaign and during data collection and analysis, as well as during dissemination of findings at conferences and in publications. We are always seeking new members to join our advisory panels and research team.
